An amazing opportunity has arisen for a 1st/2nd Line support analyst to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Reading.

Essential skills/experience for a 1st/2nd Line support engineer:
· Extensive experience of 1st line IT support
· Moderate experience of 2nd line system support
· Strong experience of Microsoft Desktop support
Skills / Knowledge required for a Service Desk engineer;
·Strong analytical skills that enable comprehension and resolution of complex business and technical issues
·Advanced working knowledge of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems
·Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2, to include Active Directory
·Intermediate knowledge of Office365
·Attention to detail
Main Purpose of Role for a Desktop support engineer:
This role will support the organisation by being responsible for managing any IT support issues from initial triage, through to successful resolution. The role will cover managing daily requests and support issues, escalating where appropriate and prioritising accordingly, in line with laid down SLA’s. It will also incorporate Laptop builds and account creation as appropriate.
