A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a a 1st Line support analyst to join a well-established company in Winchester whose staff retention is second to none!
IT Support Role You will be expected to communicate with a variety of users at all levels of the business, with varying IT knowledge. Your role will be to assist these users with their day to day IT issues, as well as assisting department heads with IT functions as necessary. The assistance provided will be over the telephone, remotely or face to face. My client runs a helpdesk ticketing system to assist with the provision, prioritisation and escalation of these issues.
The main elements of the role for a desktop support specialist will be will consist of, but are not limited to.
·Provide 1st line desktop support
·Monitor and resolve IT Help Desk incidents and escalate as required
·Web design and Development
·Provide a focus to all users for their IT needs
·Produce documentation detailing company standard installs, configurations and builds
·Travel to other company offices and sites as required
Key requirements for a 1st Line support analyst;
The Desktop support specialist should have experience of working in an IT support role or networking environment and have experience of web design and development. The ability to work under pressure and a desire to learn is fundamental to the role.
Key Skills for a 1st Line support analyst; ·Desktop support, windows operating systems (Windows 7,Windows 10)
·Microsoft office suites,(2007,2010 and 2013)
·Basic understanding of Hardware and Networking
·PHP and HTML
Desirable Skills ·Autodesk software experience
Desirable requirements for a 1st Line support analyst;
HND or A Level Qualification in an IT related subject
