A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a 1st Line support engineer to join a well-established organisation, based in Reading.
My client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and used to working in a fast-paced environment.
Key skills required for a 1st Line support engineer;
Microsoft office applications
Networking protocols, desktop application support
Office 365 services
Router configuration
Full training is on offer, but an entry level IT certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certification would be useful but is not essential for this role.
As a 1st Line support engineer your responsibilities will include but is not limited to;
Troubleshooting problems
Finding solutions to existing problems
Installing and configuring new equipment and upgrades
Suggesting ways to create a better outcome for clients.
As a member of a premium support team you will play a key role in getting to grips with user issues.
You will also play a key role in getting to grips with user issues ranging from trivial to more complex; investigate the root of the problem and act to resolve technical faults and provide users with general guidance and assistance.
