Desktop support engineer
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a desktop engineer to work for a well-established client in Wrexham, Wales.
Duration of contract - until the end of March 2019 (highly likely to be extended)
Hours of Work - Mon, Wed and Fri (3 days/week) 9am-5pm
Key Skills & Experience for a 2nd Line Desktop support engineer (minimum 2 years)
·Hardware and Application support for Windows 7 & 10
·Microsoft Office 2016/365 cloud technologies
·Antivirus, virus/spyware removal
·Microsoft Active Directory domain environment, including basic account administration and group policy
·Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 Cloud email environment
·Understanding of TCPIP and basic Cisco network skills
Key Role Activities for a 2nd Line desktop support engineer
Providing day to day IT support to approx. 300 users. Desktop/Laptop support including hardware, operating system, antivirus. Installation of applications using pre-defined configurations. Support Apple and Android mobiles devices. Assist with meeting support.
