2nd Line support engineer/IT support engineer/Second Line Support
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT support technician to join a fast growing, dynamic IT support company based in Farnham, Surrey.
Due to growth and an exciting time for the business, we are now seeking a bright 2nd Line support engineer or an experienced 1st Line support engineer who is now looking for that next move into a 2nd Line support role.
Knowledge of most of the following technologies is required as well as an excellent telephone manner:
Windows 7 / 10 configuration, setup and management
Understanding concepts and management of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies
Experience of helpdesk support desirable but training can be provided for the right candidate
Public Cloud - AWS & Azure
Office365 administration and management: 1 year (Preferred)
As a 2nd Line Support Engineer you will liaise with the client to understand their issues, solving where possible but for trickier issues you will escalate to the more senior engineering team remaining close to the issue and the customer until resolution. You will also be required to support the more junior members of the team by sharing your knowledge.
