2nd Line support engineer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a bright 2nd line engineer to join a dynamic and vibrant team based in Egham, Surrey.

Due to growth and progression, a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) is now on the lookout for a 2nd Line support engineer to join their business.

As a 2nd Line support engineer you will have most of the following skills/experience;

  • Experience troubleshooting Windows Server 2008/2012/2016

  • Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016

  • An understanding of troubleshooting Windows 7, 8 and 10

  • Knowledge of HP and Dell Servers

  • Good knowledge and experience dealing with Office365

  • Good working knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP

  • Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provide or similar would be a huge advantage but this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities for a 2nd Line support engineer will include but is not limited to;

  • Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, hardware, and software

  • Troubleshooting Windows 2008/2012/2016 Servers

  • Troubleshooting MS Exchange 2010/2013/2016

  • Updating and writing user and system documentation

  • Network and Server administration
