Working Hours - 5 days per week (including Sat and Sun but you can work from home on the weekends). There are two shifts available (07:30 - 15:30 or 14:00 - 22:00) so you can choose which shift would be more suitable).

Our client is seeking a passionate IT Support Engineer to join their collaborative team, based in Bristol.

As a key member of the Support team, you will play a crucial role in delivering effective solutions and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.
Key skills required for a Technical support engineer:
Must have at least 2 years of experience working in an IT Support role.
Experience working for a Managed Service Provider OR a strong track record in providing IT support to external clients.
A solid understanding of Microsoft solutions, particularly in Microsoft 365 and Windows Server Hyper-V networks.
Possess an excellent phone manner and the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities for a 2nd Line Support Engineer:
Offer prompt resolution of IT incidents via phone, email, or remote support, ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience for our valued customers.
Take an active role in onboarding new clients, facilitating a smooth transition, and ensuring they receive unparalleled support from day one.
Assist in the effective triaging of incidents by meticulously logging all pertinent information in our Service Desk system, guaranteeing thorough documentation for future reference and analysis.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills with energy and enthusiasm.
Conduct proactive checks, including comprehensive monitoring of alerts and regular backups, to pre-emptively identify and address potential issues, minimizing disruptions, and downtime.
