Key skills required for a 2nd Line support engineer;
Microsoft office applications
3+ years IT support experience
1st and 2nd line support
desktop application support
Office 365 services
Relevant IT qualifications would be an advantage
As a 2nd Line support engineer your responsibilities will include but is not limited to;
Trouble shooting problems
Finding solutions to existing problems
Installing and configuring new equipment and upgrades
Suggesting ways to create a better outcome for clients
As a member of a premium support team you will play a key role in getting to grips with user issues.
you will also play a key role in getting to grips with user issues ranging from trivial to more complex; investigate the root of the problem and act to resolve technical faults and provide users with general guidance and assistance.
