An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced 3rd Line infrastructure Engineer with project work experience, to join a forward-thinking Managed Service Provider, based in Bristol.
My client is seeking an enthusiastic 3rd Line IT support engineer who enjoys communicating with customers via different methods, but more importantly face to face.
Key skills required for a Technical consultant/3rd Line engineer;
Experience managing/leading projects
3rd Line support or technical consultant experience
Face to face customer experience
Windows operating systems & servers
Configuring firewalls
Networking skills would be useful as would good troubleshooting of switches
Good Office 365 experience
Exchange knowledge
Virtualisation - preferably VMware
As a 3rd Line consultant, it is important that you enjoy working with customers and building outstanding relationships. This is an exciting opportunity where 50% of your time will be working from the office and 50% visiting (local) customers. Travel allowance will be paid monthly.
