An AMAZING opportunity has become available for a bright 3rd line support engineer to join a dynamic and vibrant team based in Egham, Surrey. Due to continued growth and progression, a well-established Managed Service Provider (MSP) is now on the lookout for an experienced IT engineer to join their business.
Salary - Circa £40,000+Laptop+phone+benefits
As a 3rd Line support engineer you will have the following skills/experience;
Excellent knowledge of Office 365 and Azure virtual servers, be MCITP (MCSE) 2012 certified and will have the following;
Full UK Licence
Advanced understanding and troubleshooting of Windows servers 2008-2016
Advanced Knowledge and experience with Windows Operating systems 7 & 10
knowledge of servers including HP, Dell & NAS Storage systems
Mobile phone support
Virtualisation
TCP/IP
Desirable skills for a 3rd line engineer;
- Sonicwall Firewalls
- Mimecast
- Sophos central AV products
- Veeam Backup
- Altaro Backup
- Anchor File Sharing Package
This role will involve travelling to customer sites to undertake installation projects and provide on-site support, so a full UK licence and car is essential. When in the office, you will be required to support/assist the helpdesk.
Key responsibilities for a 3rd line IT support engineer;
- installing, configuring, upgrading & troubleshooting desktops, laptops, hardware, and software
- installing, configuring, upgrading & troubleshooting windows servers 2008-2016
- installing, configuring, upgrading & troubleshooting Office 365
- Network and server administration
- Writing/updating user and system documentation
