A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Account Manager to join a well-known organisation based in Andover, Hampshire.
Key responsibilities for an Account Manager:
Liaising with BDM to develop new business & grow existing accounts
Raising quotes following BDM contacts
Ensuring all quotes are followed up by BDM
Processing orders
Working with operations/purchasing to keep customers updated with lead times/other updates
Being first point of contact for sales area
Dealing with incoming enquiries/orders for sales area
Following up sales visits
Booking sales appointments for BDM
To work with the Business Development Manager (BDM) for your area in view of developing both new and existing business.
Key skills required for an Account Manager:
Experience working as a Account Manager/Sales Executive or similar
Processing orders
Following up on quotes
Booking in sales appointments
Excellent telephone skills
Good relationship building skills
Computer Literate
Time/Task Management skills
Communication skills
