Location: Dallington, Northampton

Salary - £23,000 - £28,000+ commission (realistic earnings of £45,000+) + Incentive Trips including New York for 2022 + Pension + Excellent working environment, and office activities.

Job type - Permanent Working Hours - Monday – Friday (8:30am to 5pm)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Account Manager to join a reputable and growing business, based in Northampton.

Key skills required for an Account Manager

  • Previous Account Management/Sales experience in an office-based environment.

  • Any experience in the IT sector would be a huge advantage but this is not essential as training will be provided.

  • The role is predominantly office based, but there will be the occasional face to face client visit so a Driving License is essential.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Must be confident and enjoy speaking with customers on the phone as well as face to face

The Account Manager role

The role of the Account Manager is to develop and create long-term relationships with clients. You will be required to understand customer demands, plan how to meet these demands and generate sales for the company as a result, whilst providing high quality service to your clients.

KPI’s will play an important role within your day-to-day activity as you will be required to ensure the company delivers service effectively, profitably and in full accordance with our clients desires to grow accounts and maximise opportunities.

This will be an exciting opportunity for someone to help grow a company that has increase in headcount by 450% in the last 2 years and continues to grow. This role also has the potential to develop into managerial opportunities as the company expands.

Key responsibilities for an Account Manager

The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards within the department and over achievement of KPI standards.

  • Delivering on personal performance in line with your KPI’s/Targets

  • Presenting your business on a weekly basis to management

  • Management of time to ensure maximum impact/penetration in the role

  • Self-teaching regularly on techniques to improve you in your role

  • Detailed fact finding and diary management

  • Achievement of minimum standards

  • Pipeline sheet updated daily for purpose of feedback/forecasting/reporting

  • Generate leads for other products in our portfolio
