A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Account Manager to join a forward-thinking business based in Andover, Hampshire.
Key skills required for a Key Account Manager:
Experience working in an Account Management role or similar.
Strong account management and relationship-building skills
Effective sales negotiation and customer relationship building
Good interpersonal teamwork and collaboration skills
Self-motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a wider team
Positive attitude and approach to working
Results-orientated with the ability to work to tight timelines
Strong time management skills including working on multiple projects
Key responsibilities for an Account Manager:
Managing customer accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with all contacts, and maximizing sales opportunities
responsibility for delivering targeted sales objectives, revenue, and gross profit for the region.
Taking ownership of your region and managing customers to deliver sales revenue in line with targets.
Develop a complete understanding of key account needs within your region and arrange regular contact, and liaise with External Sales Representatives as required, to ensure all opportunities are followed up and developed.
Establish multiple points of contact with the customer’s influencers
Generate inquiries to be quoted, and if applicable, passed to the internal sales team to be processed.
Develop strategies to increase spending on existing accounts, through gap analysis
Report clearly on all sales activity by recording Events and Calls on NetSuite.
Completing administrative tasks
