A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a forward-thinking business, based near Stockbridge Hampshire. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be part of a small team and will be in daily contact with our customers so confidence and an excellent telephone manner is essential.
Key responsibilities for an Accounts Assistant:
Processing invoicing and keeping the process up to date.
Take ownership of invoicing queries.
Collating documentation for invoicing.
Liaising with internal departments and external customers.
Identification and implementation of process improvements
Any other Ad Hoc jobs as required
Key requirements for an Accounts Assistant:
Experience working in an Accounts Assistant role or similar.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
Knowledge of Xero Accounts package is highly desirable but is not essential as training can be provided on this.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
Ability to work both independently and under instruction.
An organised, systematic approach to prioritise and keep on top of daily tasks with a keen eye for detail.
In-depth understanding of and customer service practices
Excellent communication skills
Analytical and multitasking skills
Articulate and confident representing the company
Comfortable working in a small team
Adaptable, resilient, and prepared to grow with the role.
