Working Hours - Mon - Fri (the successful Accounts Assistant can choose to work either 08:00-16:00 or 09:00-17:00)
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business, based in Ringwood Hampshire.
Key skills required for an Accounts Assistant:
Appropriate experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Any knowledge of purchasing and inventory management would be highly desirable but is not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Good Admin skills
Key responsibilities for an Accounts Assistant:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and credit notes.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate pricing and contracts.
Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary.
Reconcile monthly bank statements and prepare financial reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks.
Respond to vendor and supplier inquiries.
Provide support to other departments as needed.
