An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join a forward-thinking business based in Andover, Hampshire.
Our client is seeking someone that has experience working as an Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Credit Controller, or similar. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role within a well-regarded business.
Key responsibilities for a Bookkeeper:
Invoices, gate invoices & credit notes
Staff expense claims
Project Costings by job, pass Job costs to Budget controller
Posting & allocating cash receipts
Supplier payment run and supplier reconciliations
Managing Sub Contractors
bank and cash - update cash flow daily and send copies to directors weekly. Reconcile bank accounts daily/weekly
Credit Control – chasing payment notices
Updating project tracker with payment status
Manage Supplier payments and limits
Working with Legal advisor to Send 7-day notices and CCJ’s etc
Tracking which variations have or haven’t been agreed
Tidying up Final Accounts
Weekly Commercial meeting
Manage Client Risk/Credit Insurance
forecasting – Keeping the Application Schedule up to date.
