Job type - Full Time (Monday-Friday)

My client is seeking an experienced administrator to join their dynamic and vibrant team based in their offices in Andover. We are looking for enthusiastic people who have excellent communication skills.


Specific responsibilities for an Administrator:

  • To assist the Service Manager in the use of SAP to process orders as well as using the CRM system.

  • To assist the Service Manager in maintaining the service department quality manual & procedures in line with the requirements of ISO9001 and updating in accordance with CRM & ERP systems.

  • To actively learn about the company and support other members of the department in a variety of functions including (but not limited to):-

o Advise customers on spares /repairs and service. o Input spares orders/calibration orders/service sheets and file on appropriate system o Arrange loans of equipment as applicable o Invoice spares/repairs/ service and contracts. o Liaise with customers and the repair department on workflow and lead times. o Organise and maintain computer-based engineer service schedule. o Issue quotations as appropriate.


The role for an Administrator:

  • To support the Service Manager and colleagues in the organisation of the administrative functions of the service and repair departments both internally and for field-based engineers. 

  • A multi-tasking role requiring excellent communication skills (written & verbal), organisational skills, business understanding, computer skills and ideally an awareness of engineering terminology to achieve the department’s aim of efficient business service support. 

  • This role works within a small team and although given specific responsibilities, must be prepared to learn core duties of other roles within the department to be able to provide support at times of high demand/holiday cover etc.
