This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager/Business Development Executive that is looking for a varied role where the role is split between working in the office and visiting prospective customers.
Key skills required for a Business Development Executive:
Must have proven experience generating new business
Must hold a Full UK Driving Licence as you will be required to travel and generate business in Andover, Basingstoke, and Newbury.
Target-Driven and used to working to targets
Confident by nature
Experience dealing with customers face to face as well as over the phone
The Business Development Executive will perform business development activities for the branch to generate new revenue streams through seeking opportunities/further developing vertical markets/shares within active and inactive clients.
Key responsibilities for a Business Development Executive:
Seeking opportunities for business development within a defined area or sector
Responsible for heading up expansion in new markets
Building relationships with potential clients
Creating, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements ensuring internal processes are followed, and necessary authorisation is received before entering any agreement
You will be instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets
Organising and driving branch sales days - full engagement
Managing online and other marketing campaigns
Sharing your sales expertise with consultants
Qualifying and reporting on business and financial aspects of opportunities
The main activity will focus on field marketing, but the job also includes cold calling, online marketing campaigns, and other means of building a pipeline and generating new business
Work within KPIs as a minimal requirement
