Location - Milton Keynes (considering applicants within 2 hours commuting distance as you will only be required to visit the office twice a week)

Salary - £75,000 OTE £160,000 + £6,000 car allowance + Benefits

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established organisation based in Milton Keynes.

My client is seeking an experienced New Business Development Executive that has a solid successful sales record in telecommunications, and is looking for that next step up in deal profile and size or responsibility.

The role of Business Development Manager requires a consultative approach, imagination and the determination to succeed. Skills & Experience required for a Business Development Manager -

  • The successful Business Development Manager will work within the UK and Northern Europe so we are looking for those with previous experience selling in this region, and an understanding of the telecommunications and networks market

  • Proven experience in 'new' business sales

  • Proven sales history in developing major corporate accounts

  • Ability to work proactively to create and develop new business

  • Comprehension and appreciation of the technical aspects of communications and networks Excellent presentation skills, and outstanding written and oral communications skills

  • To show flexibility to travel throughout Europe

Key responsibilities for a Business Development Manager -

  • The Business Development Manager will identify, develop and close new business opportunities for the company’s managed network products and services, across all sectors.

  • Find and develop new prospects for managed networks across the region.

  • Create and close large, complex enterprise deals with new customers.

  • Evaluate competitive activity in the target markets, market size, and identify ‘best route to market’.

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospect, to contract signature, with assistance from the supporting functions.
