An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Intelligence Developer to join a well-regarded company, based in Andover Hampshire.
Essential skills required for a Business Intelligence Developer:
Use of MySQL to store, manipulate and extract data
Ability to create and manage data models in Power BI
Ability to write and manage DAX functions in Power BI
Ability to create Power BI reports and dashboards
Ability to create reports in Excel
Implementing a development pipeline to ensure availability and accuracy are maintained
General Business understanding
General IT infrastructure understanding
Key responsibilities for a Business Intelligence Developer:
Maintain, develop, optimise, and support a recently implemented BI infrastructure (Infor Syteline, MySQL, Power Automate, Power BI)
Work across the business to identify and create key reports and metrics
Assist with the automation of business processes where BI infrastructure can be utilised (i.e. inventory feeds)
Provide support on analytical projects
Maintain and optimise existing infrastructure.
Development and implementation of data models, metrics, and new data sources.
Create and manage reports on Infor.
Create and manage reports on Power BI / Excel.
Analytical Projects.
Business process support
Project support - migrating all the QA/Standards databases into MySQL from the current Access database.
