A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Digital Content and Sales Executive to join a well-established business, based in Andover Hampshire.
Key skills required for a Digital Content Executive:
Experience with marketplace / web based portals / web content management systems or producing digital content
An understanding of trading within the varied routes to market of an Export Sales Dept environment through Direct Retail / Distribution / FOB / E-Commerce working with a diverse client base
Experience working within a manufacturing/retail/distributor, and e-commerce environment would be highly desirable
A sales-driven self-starter who enjoys working to a deadline
Organised with good attention to detail and the ability to manage large amounts of data
A confident communicator both verbally and written
Technically savvy with an understanding of trading in an online environment
Key responsibilities for a Digital Marketing & Sales Executive:
Develop an in-depth understanding of key customer businesses, to ably support the Sales Team in any specific project requirements across the various routes to market and digital platforms internationally
Prepare information to support the annual and interim budget and forecast reports, utilising this opportunity to develop your forecasting abilities
Manage the stock position overseas reviewing monthly sales performance and demand plus re-work requests to ensure the best use of available stock versus budgeted sales
Support the company's Digital Sales Strategy, optimising sales techniques and content on retail and dropship platforms
Collate from internal sources product information, photography, CGI imagery, video content, written copy, and technical assets to prepare information for upload onto customer and marketplace-specific software and portals
Accurately upload product content to marketplaces and customer portals in a timely manner, ensuring customer and company brand guidelines are adhered to and products and innovation are communicated effectively
Develop a detailed understanding of customers’ website and portal software to fully optimise our content uploads onto their sites and drive customer satisfaction.
Utilise the Customer Review insight to pro-actively feed into the Incidence Rates process to flag up potential issues
Manage the Online range plan and product life cycles within the company's Digital portfolio to ensure the timely withdrawal of under-achieving lines and replacement with new innovative products
Prepare and present new ideas, range proposals, and photo quotes to selected customers to support the joint business plans as part of your commercial development
Implement price adjustments, listing quality improvements and promotional activity on marketplaces and the company website to drive sales on targeted products and campaigns.
Support the company's Digital Sales Strategy, optimising SEO and communication techniques on customers E-comm platforms
