Design Manager role
The team of software and hardware engineers are led by the Design Manager. The position involves working as part of a team, both in the UK and internationally, to design and develop products that meet customer needs and demands. Also, the position will require the successful applicant to design and develop embedded, in conjunction with PC based software.
Key skills required for a Design Manager
Project and Team Management experience
Knowledge of Microprocessor electronics and peripherals
C/C++ and assembler
Operating Systems such as ThreadX and Netx
Digital and Analogue circuit design
Low level debug and analysis skills
Development environments - E2 Studio, Code Warrior, Xilinx Impact
Industrial communication protocols, HART and Modbus
