We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Manager that has a technical understanding of embedded systems and electronics.

Working Hours - Mon - Fri (opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week)

This role is to manage a small team of engineers so we are seeking someone that has strong people management skills and has the ability to motivate and support an already established team.

The company manufacture measurement equipment so if you have any experience relating to this then this would be a huge advantage, but it is not required.

Key responsibilities for Head of Design:

• Liaise with engineers across departments, and help manage technical projects

• Review technical designs

• Create technical specifications

• Collect data and update technical manuals where necessary

Key Skills required for Head of Electronics/Design:

• Experience managing teams in an engineering environment

• General embedded programming and electronics understanding in order to hold conversations with technical engineers

• Experience in technical writing and documentation would be an advantage.
