A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join a well-established business in Andover, Hampshire.
Key skills required for a Health & Safety Coordinator -
2 years+ experience in a Health & Safety role or similar
Knowledge of Internal Auditor Course on the Environment ISO 14000, Internal Auditor on Quality Systems ISO 9001 and Internal Auditor on Security Systems ISO 45001 would be a huge advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
Any knowledge of the following would be hugely beneficial; Office automation advanced level, Rhinoceros, ERP (Sage X3), and SharePoint
Key responsibilities for a Health & Safety Coordinator -
Carry out technical measures to correct incidents detected.
Monitoring and analysis of job evaluations, ergonomics, machines, etc.
Carry out the control of exposures to physical agents (noise, temperature, etc.) and chemical agents (styrene, fiberglass, etc.)
Carry out actions to comply with the programming of the Annual Technical Report.
Analysis, investigation and monitoring of work accidents.
Monitor and comply with environmental aspects and propose improvement actions.
Monitor the actions carried out to measure energy savings.
Support in the development of external environmental audits.
Monitor energy and environmental objectives.
Carry out communication with the Labour Authority in matters of Health and Safety at work in the event of an accident, taking charge of its execution and supervision.
