A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Digital Transformation/IT Manager to join a forward-thinking business in Andover, Hampshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior IT Specialist or IT Manager that is looking to enhance their technical skills and be involved in driving digital transformation forward.
Key responsibilities for a Digital Transformation/IT Manager:
Maintain and develop EDI, Web Sites, Hosting and associated integrations including Web2Print functionality, 3rd Party Integrations, Data Management such as Product data, Pricing, Customer contracts, Bulk data updates.
Develop, Deliver and maintain effective communication tools, business tools and processes to unlock growth and efficiencies in a timely fashion.
Maintain and develop the companies IT infrastructure and applications.
Advise on IT solutions that will best help the company grow and perform more efficiently.
Work with the Managing Director to ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
Manage 3rd parties to ensure everyone delivers tasks on time and in full to work to a successful outcome.
Work alongside support staff, developers, ERP and WMS providers as well as telecom companies and customers
Work with companies from beginning to end, outlining the most effective resources and oversee projects through design, development to completion.
Liaise with your peer management team/clients to identify their needs and to advise them objectively on IT Solutions that may improve efficiency in their tasks.
Agree costs, timescales and standards to be met and monitoring these throughout each project.
React to variances and changes of direction with a positive outlook, adjusting project plans where needed and managing the adjustments with all team members involved.
Keep management updated on progress by producing reports and presentations for the Board.
Evaluate each project stage and once completed, review with the aim of implementing improvements to future projects and tasks.
IT budget management
Technical skills required for a Digital Transformation/IT Manager:
Great all-round IT skills combined with a good head for business
Good experience with Microsoft Office, SQL, Windows Server, Hyper V, Arcserve, Terminal Server
Experience as an IT Manager or Senior IT Specialist
Recent hands on experience
ERP experience
Infor Syteline
EDI Experience
Web site implementation
Any experience in a production or print business would be desirable
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Good prioritisation skills and be flexible enough to adapt plans
An ability to work to tight deadlines and within constraints
