Key requirements for an IT Sales Executive
Previous IT sales experience/tech knowledge is preferred but not essential
Previous sales experience essential ( min 2 years)
This role is predominantly office based to start, growing into field sales as experience is gained so a Driving License is essential.
The role for an IT Sales Executive
The role of the IT Sales Executive is to win new business. You will be required to understand customer requirements, plan and work with presales to build deals relating to IT projects, and/or support and generate sales for the company as a result. All whilst providing high quality service to potential clients.
KPI’s will play an important role within your day-to-day activity as you will be required to ensure the company delivers service effectively & profitably, whilst ensuring company DNA and culture shines through each pitch.
This will be an exciting opportunity for someone to help grow a company that has increased in headcount by 450% in the last 2 years and continues to grow. This role also has the potential to develop into managerial opportunities as the company expands.
Key responsibilities for an IT Sales Executive
The IT Sales Executive is responsible for maintaining high standards within the department and over achievement of KPI standards.
Delivering on personal performance in line with your targets
Presenting your business on a weekly basis to management
Management of time to ensure maximum impact/penetration in the role
Self-teaching regularly on techniques to improve you in your role
Detailed fact finding and diary management
Achievement of minimum standards
Pipeline sheet updated daily for purpose of feedback/forecasting/reporting
Generate leads for other products in our portfolio
