A fantastic opportunity has become available for a junior IT helpdesk engineer to join a growing organisation based in Fareham, Hampshire.


Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 17:30

Location: Fareham


The ideal Service Desk Analyst will have a willingness to learn and expand their skills and knowledge within the IT and Telecoms sectors. We advocate an open, friendly learning environment and this is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in this sector.


The Helpdesk Analyst should have/be:

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to establish long-lasting rapport

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Proactive – always a step ahead, preparing in advance and not leaving things to the last minute

  • Positive attitude – acting calmly and positive at all times

  • Demonstrate initiative

  • Professional attitude

  • Fantastic customer service skills

  • Good troubleshooting skills

  • Working as part of a team

  • Managing own workload

  • Creating and updating documentation

  • Communicating across the wider business and externally with providers

  • A driving license is essential, as the role may include some travel to customer sites and company data centres.

My client is a growing Managed Services Provider providing Cloud services and Hosted Solutions for re-sellers. They are seeking an enthusiastic 1st Line Service Desk Engineer to expand their team.
