A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Junior engineer looking to get their foot in the door with a company that invests time and money into their staff.

My client based in Thatcham is looking for a Junior professional either from a mechanical or IT background. This opportunity is also open to those who may have studied mechanical/electrical or IT and are looking to kick start their career in this chosen industry.

As a Junior Electronic engineer your key responsibilities will include but not limited to;

• Configuring new copier machines.

• re-manufacturing stock or attending emergency breakdowns (you will go out with another engineer for a while until you are comfortable to go out alone).

• Diagnose faults & repair as necessary.

• Complete routine fault preventative maintenance.

Skills required for a Trainee Electronic Service Engineer;

• Must be eager and willing to learn.

• We ask that you have a genuine interest in this industry. This can be demonstrated through study or work experience as a full training programme will be provided.

• The initiative to try and work things out on your own.

• As a Junior service engineer you will be observant and comfortable working alone as well as part of a collaborative team.

• A Full UK Driving licence is essential as you will be expected to travel to customer sites. A company vehicle is provided to commute to customer sites from the office.
