Working hours - Mon - Thur (08:45 - 17:30) Fri (08:45 - 16:00)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced PA to join a well-established organisation, based in Swindon.

We are seeking an experienced PA that is used to working in a fast-paced role as the successful Personal Assistant will be required to carry out a range of professional tasks.

Key skills required for a Personal Assistant:

  • Previous PA/Secretarial experience, supporting at least 1 Director is essential

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers

  • Confident MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint user with the ability to manage and prioritise a range of outstanding scheduling requirements

  • Highly organised and excellent attention to detail

  • Proactive and possess exceptional time management skills in order to effectively prioritise workload

  • Ability to work well under pressure, within a fast-paced environment/role

  • Personal strength and resilience. A ‘can do’ philosophy will be essential for success

Key responsibilities for a PA:

  • Providing daily secretarial and administrative support, including but not limited to; arranging travel including international trips and accommodation, booking meeting rooms, scheduling meetings, minute taking, diary management (maintaining outlook calendar) and ordering of materials

  • HR Administration duties such as processing holiday forms, maintaining absence reports and personnel files and setting up New Starters

  • Copying and circulating packs including board papers

  • Scheduling internal and external meeting, and providing a first point of contact to external parties

  • Updating and amending presentations and board papers using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Providing admin support to the relevant teams

  • Providing holiday cover for other Business Unit and PAs

  • Prioritising conflicting demands to ensure a high level of service is delivered at all times
