A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Manager with either Construction experience or Mechanical or Electrical knowledge.

Our client is on the lookout for a motivated and talented Project Manager to join their team! They're open to either an industry-experienced Project Manager or an eager-to-learn Project Manager with an electrical and/or mechanical background.

Key skills required for a Construction Project Manager:

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a project or contracts manager within the Construction industry or similar.

  • Experience in planning and delivering complex technical projects ranging in value from £250k to several million is required.

  • Strong communication skills are essential.

  • A keen attitude and ability to take a positive approach when engaging with clients and cross-departmental colleagues.

  • Confidence in dealing with a variety of projects and clients is essential. You should also be able to comfortably manage a constantly fluctuating workload with grace and good attention to detail.

  • A good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel, and Word is essential as is the ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including managing budgets, contributing to technical meetings, coordinating installations, and overseeing commissioning.

Key responsibilities of a Project Manager:

  • Provide and deliver a consistently high, efficient, and professional level of project management service to their clients.

  • To focus on quality with strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer’s satisfaction.

  • Collaborate across departments and have strong communication skills to achieve project objectives.

  • Travel to client sites within the UK to oversee commissioning, support the client, and act as an ambassador of the brand.
