A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Manager with either Construction experience or Mechanical or Electrical knowledge.
Our client is on the lookout for a motivated and talented Project Manager to join their team! They're open to either an industry-experienced Project Manager or an eager-to-learn Project Manager with an electrical and/or mechanical background.
Key skills required for a Construction Project Manager:
A minimum of 3 years relevant experience as a project or contracts manager within the Construction industry or similar.
Experience in planning and delivering complex technical projects ranging in value from £250k to several million is required.
Strong communication skills are essential.
A keen attitude and ability to take a positive approach when engaging with clients and cross-departmental colleagues.
Confidence in dealing with a variety of projects and clients is essential. You should also be able to comfortably manage a constantly fluctuating workload with grace and good attention to detail.
A good practical application of Microsoft Software, including Project, Excel, and Word is essential as is the ability to prepare and implement a range of project tools including managing budgets, contributing to technical meetings, coordinating installations, and overseeing commissioning.
Key responsibilities of a Project Manager:
Provide and deliver a consistently high, efficient, and professional level of project management service to their clients.
To focus on quality with strong attention to detail and an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer’s satisfaction.
Collaborate across departments and have strong communication skills to achieve project objectives.
Travel to client sites within the UK to oversee commissioning, support the client, and act as an ambassador of the brand.

Aside from the above, you will join a supportive and collaborative team. Your role will sit within a Capital projects department and will report to our clients' Operations Manager.
