A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Quality Inspector to join a well-regarded business, based in Andover Hampshire.

Key skills required for a Quality Inspector:

• A minimum of 2 years in a similar role

• Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality System would be hugely beneficial but isn't essential.

• A detailed and accurate approach to quality and inspection tasks.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent communication skills and well-structured administration skills.

• Reasonable experience with Microsoft Office.

Key responsibilities for a Quality Inspector:

As the Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for the inspection of inbound goods from the company’s global supply chain and assisting with continued product quality improvement.

• Analyse supply chain data to create and communicate a weekly container schedule inspection plan, with required inspection quantities according the quality sampling criteria.

• To review QC inspection reports, to determine priorities, and identify products for inspection of goods arriving at their Andover site.

• To inspect incoming goods and materials against the pre-determined inspection plan, using agreed specifications and standards, within target timescales.

• Communicate with the Warehouse to assist with coordinating stock movements of completed inspections or non-conforming products.

• Liaise with management and the team to aid establishment of clear corrective action plans for issues identified.

• Assist with the monthly non-conformance report and product improvement review meetings.

• Conduct internal stock inspections if required.

• To report non-conformances identified using the company non-conformance procedure and communicate to all relevant internal/external parties.

• Assist with the internal calibration programme if required.
