An exciting opportunity has become available for a Sales Manager to join a reputable business that is growing year on year.

This role would suit an enthusiastic Sales Manager who likes the freedom to manage their workload whilst also having the support of the team when needed. This position will be covering the M62 corridor so the role will be a mixture of working from home and out on the road visiting customers. We need someone confident and who likes building long-lasting relationships with people at all levels.

Key skills required for a Sales Manager:

  • Must have experience working in a Sales or Account Management role.

  • Customer-facing experience as this role will be visiting customers a few days per week.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.

  • Target and goal-driven.

  • Any experience in the Lift industry would be a huge advantage but this is not essential as training will be provided.

  • Full UK Driving (company car will be provided).

  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated.

Key responsibilities for a Sales Manager:

  • Responsible for supporting the business, by selling the product range and services.

  • Lead generation, conversion, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales targets for both direct and trade customers.

  • Manage existing accounts whilst also establishing new ones through direct leads that come into the business.

  • 95% of leads will come in directly to the business so there will be very little business development. However, the business still welcomes any new leads that you may find.

  • Contribute towards continuous improvement by offering any suggestions or improvements that you may identify that will contribute to reducing costs or improving productivity within the business.

  •  Compiling complete and correct information following the sales to the installation process.

  • Face-to-face customer meetings to survey and specify the end-user requirements.

  • To work closely with architects and contractors to drive the specification of the product range.
