A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse operative to join a well-established business in Andover, Hampshire.
Working Hours - Monday - Friday
Experience required for a Warehouse Operative:
Experience as a logistics operator or similar within warehouse environment.
Used to working within a team
Ability to learn quickly
Any licenses for Reach truck, counterbalance and any other license would be a huge advantage but it is not essential.
Key responsibilities for a Warehouse Operative:
Organise the storage and distribution of goods
Ensure raw materials for the production line are always available when needed.
Loading & unloading trucks (finished goods, deliveries, containers, raw materials..)
Organize returnable packaging/items received back from the customer (pallets, tubes ..)
Locate and supply material in the warehouse and supply it to the Production area
Help in the monthly inventory stock count
Identify areas that need improvement and propose solutions to management.
You may also be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods
Please note - the working hours are Monday - Friday but there are two shifts. The successful candidate will alternate between the following two shifts Mon - Fri (08:00 - 16:00) and Mon - Fri (12:00 - 20:00). No weekend working.
