Warehouse Team Leader/Line Leader

Salary - £25,760

Working Hours - 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00 (these two shifts will alternate each week), so in week 1 you will do 06:00 - 14:00, and in week 2 you will do 14:00 - 22:00. This means you will often get to finish early on a Friday and start late on a Monday.

We have a fantastic opportunity available for someone with good leadership skills to join one of our well-established clients based in Andover, Hampshire.

If you have warehouse experience and leadership skills then great! However, my client is also open to those that have leadership/mentoring skills within another industry as warehouse training will be provided.

As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will have the following skills/experience:

• Ideally, experience working within a warehouse environment or similar.

• Leadership or mentoring skills are a must as you will be leading the production operatives.

• Good admin skills.

• Able to follow warehouse processes and procedures is desirable.

• Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.

• A good level of spoken English language

Key responsibilities for a Warehouse Team Leader/Line Leader:

• Coordinate and organise work for production operatives, assigning tasks based on workload.

• Report to the management the daily current situation of the production area and inform them about any issues with the different breakdowns. (absence, machine breakdowns, lack of raw material…)

• Establish work procedures monitoring the results to guarantee KPIs.

• Supervise, motivate, and train the team for its development.

• Participate in the strategic plan.

• Counting physical monthly inventory.

• Ensure the health and safety policy is followed by the production team.

• Ensure the team Adhere to the quality policies.

• Guarantee the 5s in the production area. (Kanban system, raw material, tooling…)

• Establish good connections between departments involved in production. (Logistics, Quality, H&S, HR…)

• Prepare and discuss with management training plans, MI, SOP`s and control training.

• Flexibility is a requirement for this role, overtime may be requested to make sure the team is supported.
