A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Business Development Executive to join a growing business, based in Stockbridge, Hampshire.
The successful business development executive with join the Commercial team, where you will support the Business Development Team in hunting down and securing new customers. You will be responsible for liaising with customers to understand their requirements to successfully bring them on board with whatever means necessary, through calls, emails, zoom calls, samples and potentially site visits.
Key skills required for a Business Development Executive:
Experience working as a business development executive or similar.
Ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets.
Strong numerical skills and ability to interpret data.
A good understanding of manufacturing processes.
A thorough understanding of Sales Processes.
Ability to read technical drawings would be highly desirable
Proactive in managing workload.
Goal driven and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills
Key responsibilities for a Business Development Executive:
To provide exceptional customer service to all customers, target or non-target.
To identify all customer requirements required for pricing.
Follow up all quotations in a timely and tenacious manner through to final completion.
Accurately document all customer interaction on our CRM system.
Ensure that customers scope matches our quotation, and all needs have been satisfied.
Take projects from tender stage through to a buying position and hand this over to the next team member to close and secure.
Liaise with the Sales, Marketing and Estimating Team during the tender process
Liaise with operations team to give customers accurate timeframes for manufacture.
Build and maintain excellent customer relationships so that we become the trusted advisor in the industry.
Arrange and potentially conduct customer factory tours wherever possible.
Think outside the box when trying to get orders.
Answering inbound sales calls.
Sending out marketing materials in a targeted approach to secure new business.
