What is CV Writing and How does it work?

A CV Writing service is producing a polished, concise, and professional CV to help you secure your desired job role.

It can be stressful having to rewrite your CV or even write one from scratch that is appealing to recruiters and prospective employers. On average, recruiters and hiring managers spend approximately 20 seconds skimming through your CV. So, it is vital that your CV grabs the reader’s attention instantly and gets the attention it deserves.

Judge Recruitment provide a bespoke one to one client service and work with you on every aspect of your new CV to ensure it is direct but also represents you in the best way possible.

After an initial free telephone or email, consultation to establish your requirements, and once you have given us the go-ahead, we will take the time to rewrite your CV, using phrases relevant to your profession. Being recruiters ourselves, we know that most employers prefer CVs in a Word or PDF format so once we have finished creating your CV, we will email you a copy in both.

Don’t have a CV? No problem. Judge Recruitment can write you a CV from scratch. You are the expert on you and your skills! All we ask you to provide is the basics such as job title, employer, dates of employment, and key responsibilities. Depending on your requirement, we then work with this information to create a CV tailored to your target roles or make it more generic.

If you would prefer to tailor your CV to target roles, then it would be useful to have a job description for the role(s) you are applying for, so we can make sure your CV stands out for that position. You can then use your new CV as a template for each role for which you subsequently apply.

How long does it take?

Judge Recruitment aims to produce a finished CV within 3-5 working days of an initial consultation. If your requirement is urgent, there is an additional £15 fee charged for 24-hour service and £10 for 48-hour service.

CV & LinkedIn review - £25 each (feedback via email or 10-min call). If you then choose us to write or re-write both your CV & LinkedIn then this review cost will not apply.

Interview preparation service

Who does this service apply to?

​

Maybe you have an interview lined up but don't know where to start when it comes to preparing, or you haven't interviewed for a while and are unsure as to what is now expected in interviews, or you simply just don't have the time to prepare as much as you would like to so would like an experienced recruiter with in-depth interviewing knowledge to do the preparation for you. Whatever the reason... we are here to help YOU smash the interview!

What does it include?

A getting to know you 40-minute video or phone call (whichever you prefer), plus time spent preparing behind the scenes, eg interview questions, research on the targeted employers website, advanced research (including social media), tips on body language, confidence, your targeted selling points for the role, and other useful knowledge which will help you stand out from your competition.

What do we need from you?

All we need from you is your CV & Cover letter (if you sent a cover letter with your application), the job description for the role, and the company name. Leave the rest to us!
