A fantastic opportunity has become available for a HR Advisor to join a reputable business in Andover, Hampshire.


The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for 100+ employees within a forward-thinking business. So our client is seeking someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.


Key skills required for a HR Advisor:

  • Experience working as a HR Advisor, Onboarding specialist, or similar.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to hold conversations with people at all levels.

  • HR Administration

  • MS Office proficient

  • Recruitment & onboarding experience.

  • Used to working closely with hiring managers.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities for a HR Advisor:

  • Partner with and nurture line managers to ensure culturally they are in tune with the company's approach to team management.

  • Train Line Managers in policies and processes, and coach them in executing excellent people practices.

  • Continuously build upon and develop a talent pipeline by proactively sourcing potential employees.

  • Build a network via social media, and develop a candidate pool that can be utilised as the first port of call for appropriate candidates.

  • Support Managers with the recruitment of new team members, including involvement throughout the recruitment and selection process for key hires.

  • Work with Line Managers to organise the successful onboarding of their team members ensuring that all new hires are furnished with everything they need to have a successful induction period with the company.

  • Creating, implementing, and maintaining people-related policies and processes.

  • HR Administration

  • Create regular, informative, and meaningful posts.

  • Maintaining the People HR Database, creating contracts, and administering change letters as appropriate.

  • Maintaining job descriptions.

  • Conducting exit interviews, and liaising with finance regarding payment and salary changes.
