A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join a forward-thinking business based in Farnham, Surrey.


Key skills required for a Project Manager;

  • Relevant ICT experience in a customer delivery role

  • Proven successful delivery of significant multi-product projects

  • Proficient change and cost management

  • Proficient P&L management

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner Qualified

  • MSP background (desired but not essential)

  • Degree OR Experience related qualifications (PRINCE2 and ITIL)

  • Hands-on, innovative, flexible and hardworking

  • Exceptional organisational skills

  • Exceptional customer and supplier relationships and interaction

  • Excellent financial management skills

  • Contractual and commercially aware

  • Creative\Analytical\Innovative

  • A strong team player\leader

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion to work in a challenging, inspiring, and innovative environment.

  • Always looking to continuously improve and inspire

Key responsibilities for a Project Manager;

  • Work closely with customers and internal leads to understand the business requirement for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project

  • Responsible for customer communication including scheduling of customer implementation dates and customer meetings

  • Define the deliverables, resource requirements and work plan for the project, and manage their development and delivery

  • Manage and instigate change control processes

  • Ensure that the project is delivered within the financial requirements to time, quality and cost

  • Estimate and plan projects from start to finish, with built in contingencies

  • Manage project deliverables to ensure projects meet industry leading quality standards, such as PRINCE2

  • Manage, monitor and motivate the cross functional team assigned to the project

  • Design and deliver project presentations and compile and manage reports, risk and issue logs

  • Ensure project deliverables are within contracted parameters

  • Manage risk effectively and in a timely manner

  • Drive provisioning process and escalate as necessary

  • Manage and report against signed off business case

  • Own and manage projects within boundaries of customer/supplier contractual agreements
