Key skills required for a CCTV Engineer:
Must have previous experience in a CCTV Engineer role
Excellent general knowledge of CCTV systems.
Strong communication skills.
Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submissions.
Full UK Driving Licence.
The successful CCTV Engineer will be responsible for the installation of CCTV equipment including data and IT cabling, within the commercial, retail, and industrial buildings. You will be hands-on and work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative.
As a CCTV Engineer, you will be required to visit customer sites across different locations in the UK and the Isle of Man to carry out work on the customer’s premises. The job will consist of a mixture of operational duties, customer support, technical support.
Technical Support will include fault finding and repair, customer training, product evaluations, installation and configuration of new equipment. Having a full range of diagnostic tools is essential as well as having basic configuring skills/knowledge.
