Location: Central London – with occasional travel to Milton Keynes (travel expense to the Milton Keynes office is covered by the client).

Key skills required for an SC Cleared Commercial Specialist

·Experience of developing Commercial and procurement strategies

·Security Clearance - SC Cleared

·Experience of running OJEU and CCS Framework procurements for ICT, including G-Cloud

·Experience of large ICT Programmes

·Experience of stakeholder management

·Experience of Public Sector procurement regulations

·Experience of Contract Management within an ICT Delivery context.

Desirable requirements for an SC Cleared Commercial Specialist

·MCIPS or working towards

·Experience of Oracle ERP Transformations (EBS/Cloud)

·Experience of Management multiple work streams in an ICT and Business Transformation Environment

The role of a Commercial Specialist

My client is implementing an Oracle cloud-based ERP solution. In order to do so there is a requirement for commercial services to shape, prepare and oversee a number of ICT procurements, predominantly utilising Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework Agreements. There is an expectation that as services and procurements progress, the specialist shall begin to provide contract management and oversight of programme contracts against the project to ensure successful and efficient delivery. The specialist shall be required to work with the clients ICT and Corporate Commercial Category Teams in order to facilitate the procurement activities leading another contracted commercial resource.
