A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Deskside support engineer to join a well-known organisation based in London.
**To be considered for this role you MUST have some experience supporting Windows and MAC Platforms.**
The key focus of the role for the successful Deskside Support Engineer is to provide technical support on Windows and MAC platforms for both hardware and software tickets as well as providing support to hands and eyes requests.

Effective interpersonal skills, articulate in order to interface with client staff.
Able to work in a team and independently, demonstrating problem solving skills.
Good technical skills in Windows and MAC hardware and software.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business
·Resolve all tickets within agreed SLAs. Have a full awareness of service level KPI’s and deliver in accordance with these under guidance of the Technical Lead and Service Delivery Manager.
·Update tickets daily as defined in the ticket handling training.
·Monitor closely the ticket queue and work with other teams proactively.
·Detecting software and hardware faults and providing efficient and effective solutions for both Windows and MAC.
·Following company processes as defined for joiners and leavers including the supply of hardware.
·Working knowledge of the site’s datacentre and network for hands and eyes requests.
·Imaging and configuring PC/MAC systems.
·Basic trouble shooting skills for network adapters, wireless, and vpn clients.
·Basic AD account and group management.
·Microsoft Office installations, repair, and general application support.
·Supports mobile devices (Android/IOS)
·Request for Service project work within deskside service scope.
Customer Satisfaction
·Acting as a point of contact for all customer interactions on site via the IBM Service Now Tool.
·Helping to ensure that the company delivers a high level of customer satisfaction, which also meets the business goals.
·Awareness of the customers’ business environment, and to employ a service delivery approach that is sensitive to the effects and operational activities of the customer.
