A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Account Manager to join a forward-thinking business, based in Andover Hampshire.
The successful regional account manager will be responsible for taking final responsibility for delivering targeted sales objectives and revenue for the region. This will involve managing key accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with accounts and maximising sales opportunities.
Main Role / Responsibilities of a Regional Account Manager:
Taking ownership of your region and manage customers to deliver sales revenue in line with targets on a monthly basis.
Develop a complete understanding of key account needs within your region and arrange regular contact, whether through face-to-face representation or phone call.
Establish multiple points of contact with the customer’s influencers.
Generate enquiries to be quoted, and if applicable, passed to your team to be processed.
Generate new customer leads to be handed to the Business Development Team.
Develop strategies to increase spend of existing accounts, through gap analysis.
Seizing opportunities that come to light as a result of face-to-face visits from information that would not have been realised from telesales calls.
Report clearly on all face-to-face and phone call activity by recording Events and Calls on NetSuite.
Ensure that all actions are assigned, and tasks created in NetSuite as appropriate.
Resolving any client issues and complaints to maintain trust.
Completing administrative tasks as requested by the Management Team, such as planning and presenting reports on account progress and goals.
