A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solutions Architect to join a well-regarded business based in Farnham, Surrey. Experience/Qualifications required for a Solutions Architect; ·Scoping and designing of Microsoft Office 365 transition and transformation projects ·Scoping and designing of Hybrid Cloud and Private Cloud solutions utilising Azure, AWS, Hyper-V and VMWare ·MCSE qualified ·Scoping and design of Enterprise desktop solutions through Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp and RDS. ·Experience of device management tools such as INTUNE ·Experience of completing successful Exchange migrations ·Knowledge of back up tools, preferably Veeam ·Experience of creation and management of SharePoint is desirable ·Strong commercial understanding ·Strong communication skills, both verbal and written presentation skills. ·5+ in the IT Managed Services or Network Service Provider arena ·Knowledge and experience of a structured sales process ·Experience in the development of cross functional relationships with both internal teams and external clients ·Ability to communicate complex technical designs and solutions to a non-technical and CxO audiences. ·Ability to drive results working with various departments both internally and externally ·Ability to adapt to the changing environment and deliver solutions that drive service excellence Key areas of responsibilities for a Solutions Architect: ·Answering technical inquiries received. ·Provide pre-sales support to internal and external sales personnel. ·Identify cross selling opportunities. ·Be pro-active in investigation of possible cross selling opportunities. ·Visiting existing/potential customers with the relevant sales person. ·Creation of Solution Design Documents, solution pricing and Statement of Works. ·Competitive analysis. Compare and advise on products operating in the company arena. ·Participating in the collection of Customer Specific Data in order to validate the solution accuracy, costing and assumptions. ·Supporting the solution proposal presentations at customer locations and/or internal offices. Prepare the relevant part of presentation material related with the services, architecture and technology aspects of the solution. ·Achieve a position of trusted technical advisor with clients. ·Complete low level design documentation and work reports for provision to customer and BAU support teams ·Server build and configuration ·Key contribution to Microsoft strategy and managed services roadmap Must be prepared to work flexibly as part of standard work pattern to allow for customer work to be completed out of hours as required.
