A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Technical Account Manager to join a forward-thinking business, based in Kent.
Key skills required for Technical Account Manager:
Demonstrable experience managing customer accounts and acting as a point of escalation.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will have knowledge of most of the following technologies:
Windows Server 2003-2019
Windows Desktop XP-10
Hosted Desktop and Cloud computing
Terminal server farm setups
Office 365 tenant setup and administration
VMWare / Hyper-V administration
Networking capabilities (DNS, routing, switching etc)
VoIP knowledge, preferably 3CX
Some experience of IT project management would be useful.
Key responsibilities for a Technical Account Manager:
Be responsible for a number of customer accounts, for which you will be the dedicated TAM and provide strategic planning for their IT needs.
Take ownership of the accounts allocated to you and demonstrate outstanding customer service.
Support colleagues across the business who will draw upon your knowledge of your customer accounts, seeking guidance on appropriate resolution.
Maintain good working knowledge of company services to seize opportunities, increasing and improving the customer’s products and services.
Demonstrate a general understanding of project management, leading on some aspects the relevant project plan. This may include: Planning and scoping, Sourcing, Deployment and integration, Maintenance and review, seeking support from the Sales Director, as required
Competently onboard new customers and ensure the transition is effective and efficient.
